Edizen Receives GSA Approval to Offer Management Organizational & Business Improvement
Services to Federal Agencies
Named to MOBIS Schedule for Contract Awards up to $500,000.
(September 2003) The United States General Services Agency (GSA)
named Edizen, a management consulting and coaching firm, to its select Federal agency
contractor list.
GSA is the Government’s chief acquisition agency, spending billions of dollars
annually on products and services. It also assists other Federal agencies to buy from
approved vendors, such as Edizen, through the GSA Schedule, which streamlines the up-front
purchasing process to save time and money.
Edizen has been approved as part of the Management Organizational & Business Improvement
Services (MOBIS) schedule to offer professional, administrative and management support
services. The company is approved for contract awards valued up to $500,000.
“Edizen stands prepared to help agencies of all sizes achieve the efficiencies
mandated as part of the Federal Human Capital Survey,” said Sharon Gazda, president
of Edizen. “We have a proven track record of helping clients improve performance
and achieve organizational goals by developing the performance potential of individuals
and teams.”
Edizen joins a select group of GSA contractors who have been approved to do business
with Government agencies worldwide. Gaining GSA approval is a lengthy and rigorous process
from initial solicitation to the selection of venders. Applicants are carefully reviewed
in key areas such as appropriate pricing, technical qualifications, and past performance
as qualified by a Dun & Bradstreet rating. Last year, D&B rated Edizen’s
performance as “outstanding.”
In addition to GSA approval, Edizen is certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration,
SOMWBA, the Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), and the Massachusetts Department of
Transportation. The company also has established relationships with several Federal and
State agencies including the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Department
of Health and Human Services (DHHS), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the
Connecticut Metropolitan District Commission (MDC).
Edizen represents a unique concept in business consulting. The company brings together
the principals of education and life long learning to improve individual and group performance
through coaching, executive development and HR strategic planning. A certified Woman-Owned
Business with headquarters in Springfield, Mass., Edizen works with national clients
including public and private companies, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations.
