Gail Finger. Senior Government Partner

Gail Finger, Senior Government PartnerGail Finger brings over 20 years of expertise in human motivation, performance and the psychology of change to Edizen consulting work. Her experience includes executive coaching, career coaching, training, consulting and facilitation for a wide variety of organizations in both the public and private sectors.

Gail is a subject matter expert in employee engagement and change management and is a frequent presenter for the Brookings Institution’s conferences and leadership programs.

Gail’s strength is to see potential in every individual and every organization that she works with. She is fascinated by the unique attributes and talents that each individual brings to work each day and believes that the best way to help organizations succeed is to ensure that every individual is truly engaged. Gail helps individuals to achieve peak performance by guiding them to recognize and harness their unique strengths and talents. Through an in-depth process of assessment, action planning, training, and coaching, Gail helps organizations achieve sustainable success.

Gail has worked on projects with Edizen clients including the National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Department of Transportation (DOT) Volpe Center, Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Logistics Management Institute (LMI), Harborside Healthcare, and Bayer Pharmaceutical, as well as numerous small to mid-sized manufacturing and service businesses and non-profit organizations.

Some of the projects Gail has assisted clients in implementing include: executive and management coaching programs, career transition coaching and career development training programs, succession and promotion planning processes, improving team performance, designing customized competency and assessment models, mentoring programs and leadership development for technical managers. Gail also was responsible for designing, implementing and directing a 10-year program for workers who had to cope with disabling injuries and find new careers.

Gail holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Bridgeport. She is an ICF Certified Coach.

Gail is also certified in a wide variety of selection, behavioral and organization assessment tools including SHL’s Career Pathfinder, Abilities and Behavioral Workstyle Assessments, The Predictive Index, Bigby-Havis Assess, and the Denison Organizational Survey and Leadership 360 Survey. She also is certified in the SHL and Predictive Index tools for competency model development.
