

For over 20 years, Dr. Rene Carew has helped organizations achieve their full potential in the areas of leadership and career development, team building, and executive coaching. She has trained and coached executives and managers in a wide range of Fortune 500 companies, federal government and state agencies.
Rene’s leadership development and coaching work includes: designing leadership competency models, providing individual and team feedback sessions and Individual Development Plans, providing ongoing teambuilding to support large scale change initiatives, designing skill building programs to support leadership development.
Rene delivered leadership and management development programs as a consultant with Charter Oak Consulting Group over a thirteen year period. Programs included the L-4 Leadership program which is based on Situational Leadership, teambuilding, management programs for mid-level managers, project leadership programs, meeting management and facilitation skills. Programs were conducted in Fortune l00 and 500 companies as well as government agencies.
Rene has also provided executive coaching to senior managers at Mission Federal Credit Union, San Diego; Health New England in Springfield, MA, and Intel Corporation. She has conducted train the trainer programs in Situational Leadership as well as programs for not-for-profit and government agencies.
Rene taught courses in leadership development, career development, women and leadership, organization behavior, management, human behavior, group dynamics, counseling at the University of Massachusetts, The University of Hartford, Antioch New England Graduate School, and American University/National Training Laboratories. She has served as Staff Development Provider for over 20 years at the University of Massachusetts, conducting retreats and management development programs.
Rene received her Masters Degree in Human Relations and Counseling from Ohio University and her Doctorate in Applied Behavioral Sciences from the University of Massachusetts. She is a member of NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science.
