
Sharon Gazda is the president of Edizen, a certified woman-owned
consulting firm based in Springfield, MA with regional offices in Washington, DC and
Atlanta, GA.
Sharon founded Edizen in 2000 based on a unique concept integrating organizational development,
business strategy and individual performance. The Company’s focus brings together
the principals of education and life long learning to prepare individuals, teams and
organizations to succeed.
In addition to her role as owner and President of Edizen, Sharon works with clients
as both a coach and program facilitator for organizational-wide initiatives. She has
coached more than 100 senior managers including CEOs, presidents, agency directors, general
counsels, medical directors and CFOs as well as hundreds of middle managers in a variety
of industries and functions in both the public and private sectors.
In addition to strong coaching skills, Sharon has more than 20 years experience in organization
development, HR and strategic planning. She has provided all types of Human Resources
programs to all levels of employees and in a wide range of industries.
Her training style and outstanding platform skills have been described as “energetic,
creative and highly enjoyable.” As a keynote speaker for professional conferences
and annual meetings, Sharon’s presentations are consistently ranked in the highest
category.
Sharon is a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and is International
Coaching Federation (ICF) certified. She holds a BA in Sociology and Master of Education and has
completed extensive graduate work and continuing education in business, HR and organization
development. She is certified in numerous
assessment methods and is an Adjunct Faculty member of the Federal Executive Institute.
In addition, she has served as an Adjunct Professor of Business teaching Human Resources
and Diversity courses.
Sharon has authored numerous articles on leadership and coaching for local and national
publications. She serves on the Board of Directors for The New England Chapter of the
Institute of Management Consultants as well as several community organizations. She is
a certified mediator and is extensively involved in local and national volunteer programs.
