Continuous learning is a process of acquiring new practical skills, applying them in daily experiences, and adapting behaviors to improve performance.

The Edizen approach is based on understanding the basic principles of adult learning in order to provide an effective and enriching experience for all participants:

  • Adult learners are self-directed. They expect to learn information that is relevant to them and has immediate application to their jobs.
  • Each learner brings life experiences and knowledge to contribute to the learning experience. Their individual perspectives offer value that can be drawn into the group discussion.
  • Adults are goal-oriented and learn best when they are actively engaged. Offering opportunities to “learn by doing” enhances the overall learning experience.
  • Adult learners are practical and relevancy-oriented. There must be a clear reason and benefit to learning a new skill in order for the experience to be of value.
